The road toward the Battle Born looms ahead for the Blue Party. The generals and their entourage assess the numbers from recent skirmishes and review their battle plans for the days to come. One has scraped the shards of victory in Iowa, the other has triumphed convincingly in New Hampshire.
Both generals will seek to empower and inspire the people of the Battle Born state, and both will attempt to enlist into their ranks the delegates necessary to seize control of the Blue Party. The race is closer than most anticipated even though the superdelegates ignore the popular vote.

Among the Red Party, a restless and uneasy aura hovers between the retinue of the generals. Some yell fraud and there is a tussle for power. The fifty delegates up for grabs in the state of South Carolina may yet slingshot one Red general far above the rest and shift the momentum of all campaigns. When next these forces clash on the battlefield, the tables may turn violently and many eyes will remain fixated on the numbers.
